Feel free to insult me on my weight. Feel free to insult me on my looks. Feel free to insult me on my blog. But if you insult me about my faith, do not be surprised when I fight back to defend it. Keep that in mind as you read ahead.
So normally I don’t talk about religion on Tumblr because I don’t want to be posting something with foul language and then be like “GOD, I LOVE YOU”, because that makes me look even more hypocritical than I already am. I do find Christians to be very hypocritical in general, although I will say now that I am a part of that religion. I do believe that Jesus came into this world, died on the cross for my (and the whole world’s) sins, that I am saved through that act and instead of going to hell when I die, I get to spend eternity with the one who saved me.
To make it clear, I don’t post things talking about my faith not because I don’t want to put a bad image on myself, but that I don’t want to put a bad image on God. I am not perfect. I make mistakes, and I do bad things along with every other human being on this planet. However, God does not make mistakes. He is perfect, and if I profess that I am representing Him, then go slip up, it puts a bad image to His name too. That’s what I don’t want to do.
I’m sorry I can’t be perfect (that is not sarcasm), but please, please, please do not blame Jesus for what I do. The whole reason I typed out the paragraphs above was so that you don’t. Feel free to message me here if you have a comment on it, and if you’re someone of another religion who just read through this and is angry about it, feel free to unfollow me. That’s fine. Just when you leave, please blame your anger on me and not the God I believe in.
